Welcome at the Institute of Hermeneutics and Philosophy of Religion
The tasks of our institute:
- Education: to ensure teaching in the minor Hermeneutics, from FS26 onwards, the Hermeneutics study programme can only be studied at Bachelor's level.
- Research: conducting research projects and organizing conferences in the field of theological and philosophical hermeneutics as well as in Philosophy of Religion / Religion and Science
Since 2016 the institute coordinates the Netzwerk Hermeneutik Interpretationstheorie (NHI).
