The tasks of our institute:

• Education: to ensure teaching in the minor Hermeneutics, and in the minor Philosophy of Religion / Religion and Science

• Research: conducting research projects and organizing conferences in the field of theological and philosophical hermeneutics as well as in Philosophy of Religion / Religion and Science

Since 2016 the institute coordinates the Netzwerk Hermeneutik Interpretationstheorie (NHI).
